Gordon Central extended the longest winning streak in AAA Region 5 this week by beating Coahulla Creek, 46-0. The win marks sixth in a row for the the Warriors.
Gordon Central took down the Colts 46-0 last week, the largest margin of any game. MJ Reynolds threw for 241 yards and four touchdowns in the win.
The Warriors' Reynolds and Chandler Curtis have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Reynolds has thrown for 1310 yards this season, while Curtis, a 6-foot-0 receiver, has 14 catches for 368 yards. Hunter Williams from Coahulla Creek leads the league in rushing with 237 yards.
Adairsville led the league in scoring this week after putting up 70 points on North Murray.
