Soccer Game Preview: Middle Creek vs. Holly Springs + How To Watch

Middle Creek has won four straight games at home, while Holly Springs has won four straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Monday. The Mustangs will welcome the Golden Hawks at 6:15 p.m. After the two teams made easy work of their previous opponents, one won't be so lucky on Monday.

Middle Creek had to skate by with only a one-goal margin when they last took the pitch, which might have inspired the five-goal drubbing they dealt Cary on Wednesday. The Mustangs never let the Imps get on the board and left with a 5-0 victory. Considering Middle Creek have won seven matches by more than two goals this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Cary with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Sterling McGregor (2), Evan Chestnutt, Jack Frary, and Cooper Riesenberg.

Meanwhile, Holly Springs made easy work of Felton Grove on Wednesday and carried off an 8-0 win. The final result isn't all that surprising considering Holly Springs' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 49th, while Felton Grove are ranked 426th).

Middle Creek's victory bumped their record up to 18-1-1. As for Holly Springs, their win bumped their record up to 15-7.
