Softball Recap: Ridgewood Generals vs. Crooksville Ceramics
Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Ridgewood walked away with it. They came out on top against the Crooksville Ceramics by a score of 5-2 on Thursday. Five seems to be a good number for the Generals as the team scooped up a win with the same number of runs in their previous game.
Addison Lahmers spent all 11 innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on four hits and racked up 21 Ks.
On the hitting side, Ridgewood's victory was truly a team effort as six different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Kaydence Lahna, who went 2-for-4 with one run.
They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Ridgewood kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Crooksville only managed four hits.
