Volleyball Recap: Sheets Memorial Christian Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Sheets Memorial Christian, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Cornerstone Christian Academy Crusaders by a score of 3-1 on Thursday. This was a revenge game for the Eagles: when they faced off against the Crusaders back in September, they had to take a 3-0 loss.

Sheets Memorial Christian had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 20-25, 25-20, 25-22, 25-23.

Sheets Memorial Christian's record now sits at 6-12. As for Cornerstone Christian Academy, their defeat ended a four-match streak of away wins and brought them to 12-4.

Looking ahead, Sheets Memorial Christian will square off against Heritage Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Heritage Christian will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Sheets Memorial Christian surely won't give up without a fight. As for Cornerstone Christian Academy, they will head out on the road to take on Millers Creek Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
