Volleyball Recap: Millers Creek Christian Comes Up Short

Millers Creek Christian lost against University Christian back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Lions came up short against the Barracudas, falling 3-0.

The final score came out to 25-11, 25-12, 25-11.

Fernanda Soto had a dynamite game For University Christian., getting nine digs and eight aces. Soto is also crushing it when it comes to assists: she's posted at least 20 every time she's taken the court this season.

Millers Creek Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9. As for University Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Millers Creek Christian will take on Triad Baptist Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for University Christian, they will face off against The Burlington School at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
