Baseball Recap: Tuesday's Victory Is Sebring's Ninth in Last Ten Outings

With a playoff win on the line, Sebring rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Innovation Bulls with a sharp 8-0 victory.

The team relied heavily on Coby Moesching, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Zach Huret, who went 1-for-2 with one home run and two RBI.

Sebring is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-5 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.2 runs on average over those games. As for Innovation, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-10 record this season.

Sebring will square off against Auburndale at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Innovation does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
