The win made it two in a row for Venice and bumps their season record up to 2-2. As for Fort Myers, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-2.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Venice will challenge Sarasota at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Fort Myers, they will take on Riverdale at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Fort Myers is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.6 goals per game this season.
