Baseball Recap: Carlson Takes a Loss

Carlson lost against Anderson back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Marauders took a 5-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Titans. The Marauders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Matthew MacBride was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and one RBI. Connor Rankin was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one RBI.

Carlson's loss dropped their record down to 15-11. As for Anderson, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 18-6.

Looking ahead, Carlson will head out on the road to face off against Trenton at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Anderson, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Salem at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
