They came out on top against the Aubrey Rogers Patriots by a score of 60-51. Given the Sharks' advantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 280th, while the Patriots are ranked 657th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Aubrey Rogers lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Michael Fay, who posted 15 points. Another player making a difference was Luke Johnson, who scored 11 points.
