Basketball Recap: Monclova Christian Academy Extends Home Winning Streak to Seven

Monclova Christian Academy lost to Bowling Green Christian Academy back in January of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Monclova Christian Academy Thunder came out on top against the Bowling Green Christian Academy Lions by a score of 63-50. The Thunder pushed the score to 51-29 by the end of the third, a deficit the Lions cut but never quite recovered from.

Despite the loss, Bowling Green Christian Academy still got an impressive performance from Trent Thompson, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 11 boards. Those 20 points gave Thompson a new career-high. Jackson Hammack was another key player, putting up 13 points and eight rebounds.
