Baseball Game Preview: Martins Mill Mustangs vs. Como-Pickton Eagles

For the second straight game, Martins Mill will face off against Como-Pickton. The Mustangs are taking a road trip to challenge the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Martins Mill made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Como-Pickton, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Mustangs' pitchers stepped up to hand the Eagles an 8-0 shutout on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for the Mustangs, who have now won three matches by eight runs or more so far this season.

For Como-Pickton's part, DANE OUD made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and one double. OUD has been hot recently, having posted two or more stolen bases the last three times he's played.

With the defeat, Como-Pickton broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 8-13. As for Martins Mill, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-5.
