Volleyball Game Preview: Mills Vikings vs. Sequoia Ravens

The Mills Vikings will venture away from home to face off against the Sequoia Ravens at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday.

Mills can't be to happy about their upcoming road contest considering what happened when they opened their season on the away from home on Tuesday. They fell 3-1 to Balboa. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it 12 in a row.

While Mills ultimately came up short, they really made Balboa work, particularly in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 28-26, 23-25, 25-19, 25-18.

Meanwhile, Sequoia came tearing into Tuesday's game with five straight wins dating back to last season, and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Mavericks as they made off with a 3-0 victory.

Mills came up short against Sequoia when the teams last played back in March of 2024, falling 3-1. Can Mills avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
