Basketball Recap: King's Academy Find Success

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Dillon Christian, King's Academy was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Thomas Sumter Academy Generals, sneaking past 38-35. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Lions also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2024.

The win snapped King's Academy's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 2-6 record. As for Thomas Sumter Academy, they are on a 24-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

King's Academy will challenge Lee Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Thomas Sumter Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Florence Christian at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
