Basketball Recap: Branford Makes It Four in a Row at Home

Branford won the last time they faced Santa Fe, and Cloey Criggall did her part to make sure it happened again. The Branford Buccaneers had just enough and edged the Santa Fe Raiders out 43-40 thanks in part to Criggall, who almost dropped a double-double on 29 points and nine boards. What's more, she also racked up six steals, the most she's had since back in December of 2024.

Branford's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-8. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 25 points. As for Santa Fe, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost 13 of their last 14 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-16 record this season.

Branford and Bronson will face off at 6:00 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played. As for Santa Fe, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Palatka at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
