Baseball Game Preview: St. Augustine Saints vs. Pacifica Mariners

The St. Augustine Saints will venture away from home to square off against the Pacifica Mariners at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The last five games St. Augustine has played (dating back to last season) have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

St. Augustine's tournament run continued when they took on Maranatha on Thursday. The Saints fell just short of the Minutemen by a score of 5-4.

St. Augustine saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mario Vitale, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Pacifica's offense. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Norco on Tuesday.

St. Augustine now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Pacifica, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
