Softball Recap: Wednesday's Loss Ends Northmor's Winning Streak

After flying high against Mt. Gilead last Monday, Northmor came back down to earth. The Golden Knights came up short against the Danville Blue Devils on Wednesday, falling 13-3. The Golden Knights' loss signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

Northmor saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kate Kissling, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

Northmor's defeat dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Danville, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 12-0.

Coming up, Northmor will head out on the road to take on Mt. Gilead at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. Danville will be paying especially close attention to the Golden Knights' game: after the Golden Knights faces off against North Union, they'll take on Danville again at 5:15 p.m. on Monday.
