Volleyball Game Preview: Spooner Rails vs. Ladysmith Lumberjacks

Spooner hasn't had much luck against Ladysmith recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Rails will head out to square off against the Lumberjacks at 7:00 p.m.

Spooner is headed into the match having just suffered their biggest loss since September 23rd on Thursday. They lost 3-0 to Unity.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Unity scored at least 17 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-17, 25-21.

Ladysmith not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since September 23rd (when they won 3-0). They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Cumberland. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Lumberjacks.

The final score came out to 25-22, 25-17, 25-22.

Spooner's loss dropped their record down to 7-19. As for Ladysmith, their win bumped their record up to 14-22.
