Volleyball Recap: Henley Gets the Win

After losing to Coral Academy of Science Las Vegas the last time they met, Henley decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Hornets came out on top in a nail-biter against the Falcons on Saturday, sneaking past 2-1.

Despite the defeat, Coral Academy of Science Las Vegas saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Jinelle David had 20 assists and 12 digs. Those 12 digs set a new season-high mark for David.

The victory got Henley back to even at 1-1. As for Coral Academy of Science Las Vegas, their loss dropped their record down to 5-4.

Henley wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Desert Oasis on the 30th. As for Coral Academy of Science Las Vegas, they will challenge Canyon Springs at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
