Softball Recap: Finneytown Wildcats vs. Indian Hill Braves

Finneytown extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to nine on Monday, dropping their season record down to 0-5 in the process. They came up short against the Indian Hill Braves, falling 26-3. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Braves this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 19-5 last Wednesday.

J'Uana Steele made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

As for Indian Hill, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-2. The game marked their most dominant win of the season so far.

On Indian Hill's side, they got a massive performance out of Landry Glenn, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, five runs, and two stolen bases. Glenn is on a roll when it comes to hits, as she's now got three or more in each of the last three games she's played. Zoey Glenn was another key player, getting on base in four of her five plate appearances with five RBI, two runs, and one triple.

Looking ahead, Finneytown will challenge Madeira at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The MUSTANGS/AMAZONS have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.17 runs per game on average), something the Wildcats will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Indian Hill, they will welcome Wyoming at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
