Volleyball Recap: Start Takes a Loss

Start lost to Springfield back in March and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Spartans came up short against the Blue Devils, falling 3-0. The Spartans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

While Start was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Springfield's winning margin in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-12, 25-21.

Start's record is now 6-8. As for Springfield, their victory bumped their record up to 11-4.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Start is set to face off against their familiar foe Northwest Ohio Classical Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Springfield will take on rival Steele at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
