Preview: Kings Knights vs. Sycamore Aviators
After two games on the road, Kings is heading back home. They will finish 2023 at home by hosting the Sycamore Aviators at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Kings fought the good fight in their overtime contest against Milford on Thursday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 45-44 to the Eagles.
Meanwhile, Sycamore ended up a good deal behind Lakota West on Wednesday and lost 55-40.
Kings' defeat dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Sycamore, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season.
Kings was able to grind out a solid victory over Sycamore in their previous meeting back in December of 2021, winning 54-42. Does Kings have another victory up their sleeve, or will Sycamore turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
