Baseball Game Preview: Lavaca Golden Arrows vs. Greenland Pirates

Lavaca hasn't had much luck against Greenland recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Lavaca Golden Arrows will welcome the Greenland Pirates at 4:00 p.m. Lavaca will be strutting in after a victory while Greenland will be coming in after a loss.

Lavaca proved they can win big on Friday (they won by 17) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past Cossatot River 10-9. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Golden Arrows have posted since April 18, 2024.

Meanwhile, Greenland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 9-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of Elkins.

Greenland's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Lavaca, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
