Preview: Cate vs. Northwood
The Cate Rams will face off against the Northwood Timberwolves at 3:15 p.m. on Friday.
Cate and Royal squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but sadly Cate had to settle for second. Both teams finished up on equal footing with a 2-2 draw.
Cate avoided a loss thanks to
TJ Weir and
George Marin, who posted both of Cate's goals. The pair have combined for a total of 15 so far this season.
Meanwhile, Northwood scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Wednesday. They blew past Lennox Academy 7-2. With Northwood ahead 3-0 at the half, the game was all but over already.
With that draw, Cate's record moves to 9-1-2. As for Northwood, their win bumped their record up to 9-3-7.
