Baseball Recap: St. Joseph Central Flyers vs. Glenwood Tigers

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Green, St. Joseph Central was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They blew past the Glenwood Tigers 17-1. The high-scoring effort was just what the Flyers needed considering they were shut out in their previous matchup.

Blake Medinger made a splash no matter where he played. He tossed five innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. Medinger was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3.

In other batting news, St. Joseph Central got a massive performance out of Carson Lyons, who scored four runs and stole two bases while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. Wesley Neal was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-3.
