Cypress Creek won the last time they faced Hudson and things went their way on Friday too. Cypress Creek came out on top against Hudson by a score of 7-2. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Coyotes.

Aiden Hendershot tossed a big game, striking out nine batters over five innings while giving up just two earned runs off two hits. That's the fewest hits he has allowed since back in April of 2024.

At the plate, Cypress Creek let Braden Rankin and Aaden Hernandez run wild. Rankin scored a run while going 2-for-4, while Hernandez went 1-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. That run marked the first that Rankin scored this season. Jack Grzanka was another key player, scoring two runs while going 1-for-2.

Cypress Creek kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They are 4-1 when they post 11 or more hits.

Cypress Creek's record now sits at 9-7. As for Hudson, their loss dropped their record down to 5-10.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cypress Creek will challenge Sunlake at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Sunlake will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Cypress Creek surely won't give up without a fight. As for Hudson, they will face off against Gulf at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Hudson is facing Gulf at the right time seeing as Gulf is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
