Volleyball Recap: Riverside-Brookfield Now 9-1 over Last Ten Games

There's no place like home for Riverside-Brookfield, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They came out on top against the Glenbard South Raiders by a score of 2-0 on Tuesday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-1 on Saturday.

While Riverside-Brookfield might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Glenbard South scored at least 19 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-19.

Jack Schejbal paced Riverside-Brookfield's offense, picking up seven kills. Schejbal got some help from Liam Keohane and his 13 assists. Schejbal was also solid from the service line: he led the team with two aces.

Riverside-Brookfield has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 21-11 record this season. As for Glenbard South, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 14-16.

Looking ahead, Riverside-Brookfield will host Sandburg at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Glenbard South, they will square off against Elmwood Park at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Raiders are facing the Tigers at the right time seeing as the Tigers are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
