Volleyball Recap: Chicago Christian's Luck Changes for the Better on Monday

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Chicago Christian walked away with it. They came out on top against the Richards Bulldogs by a score of 2-0 on Monday. The Knights were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the Bulldogs, so the Knights were just returning the favor.

Among those leading the charge was Ryan Vanden Bosch, who had 12 digs. He is on a roll when it comes to digs, as he's now had 11 or more in each of the last three games he's played.

Chicago Christian couldn't miss and finished the game having scored on 42.4% of their attack attempts. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their hitting percentage total in three consecutive contests.

Chicago Christian moved to 19-17 with that victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak. As for Richards, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-19.

Chicago Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Oak Park-River Forest on the 27th. Richards does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
