It was a good run, but Galax unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Tuesday. They and the Carroll County Cavaliers finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw. The result kept Galax happy, as they haven't lost a game since April 17th.

Galax's draw makes their record 10-2-2 this season. As for Carroll County, they moved theirs to 5-5-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Galax will host Grayson County at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Galax will be up against Grayson County's rather soft defense (which has allowed 5.73 goals per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Carroll County, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Floyd County at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
