Football Game Preview: Archbishop Hannan Hawks vs. St. Thomas Aquinas Falcons + How To Watch

The Archbishop Hannan Hawks will head out to square off against the St. Thomas Aquinas Falcons at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Archbishop Hannan and 13 for St. Thomas Aquinas dating back to last season.

On Friday, Archbishop Hannan came up short against Covenant Christian Academy and fell 27-19.

Meanwhile, St. Thomas Aquinas fell victim to Riverside Academy and their airtight defense on Friday. They had to suffer through a 41-0 loss at the hands of the Rebels. While losing is never fun, the Falcons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana football rankings (they are ranked 229th, while the Rebels are ranked 79th).

St. Thomas Aquinas' defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Archbishop Hannan, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

Everything came up roses for Archbishop Hannan against St. Thomas Aquinas in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 36-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Hawks since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
