Football Recap: Paoli Falls to Boonville in First Game of Season

Paoli had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They were dealt a 33-0 defeat at the hands of the Boonville Pioneers on Friday. The Rams were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Pioneers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

Grant Davis had a dynamite game For Boonville., rushing for 162 yards and four TDs on only 14 carries. Those 162 rushing yards gave Davis a new career-high.

Looking ahead, Paoli will challenge Corydon Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Boonville, they will take on Mt. Vernon at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. This will be the Pioneers' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
