Basketball Recap: Del Campo Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Del Campo, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They walked away with a 47-34 victory over the Oakmont Vikings on Saturday. That's more bragging rights for the Cougars, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Several Vikings players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Ocean Munoz, who posted eight points and four steals. Jayden Rodrigues was another key player, putting up nine points.

Del Campo pushed their record up to 7-7 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Oakmont, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season.

Del Campo will be playing in front of their home fans against Placer at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Placer's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last ten games. As for Oakmont, they will host Encina at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
