Volleyball Recap: Demetric George Jr. and Ko Moo Secure Win for Fort Wayne South Side

Fort Wayne South Side and Fort Wayne North Side faced off in a cross-town battle on Wednesday. The Archers came out on top against the Legends by a score of 3-1. For the Archers, this counts as revenge for the 0-0 victory the Legends walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2024.

While Fort Wayne South Side might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Fort Wayne North Side scored at least 22 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 29-27, 21-25, 25-23.

That's the most digs George Jr. has posted over his last five matchups. Win Htoo also deserves some recognition as he had his first digs of the season.

The win snapped Fort Wayne South Side's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 12-13 record. As for Fort Wayne North Side, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-12.

Fort Wayne South Side wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-2 victory against New Haven on the 13th. As for Fort Wayne North Side, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 loss against Huntington North on the 13th.
