Basketball Recap: Fitch Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Fitch can now relate to. They came up short against the Northwest Catholic Lions on Tuesday, falling 71-50. While losing is never fun, the Falcons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Connecticut basketball rankings (they are ranked 31st, while the Lions are ranked first).

Fitch's defeat dropped their record down to 12-12. As for Northwest Catholic, they pushed their record up to 20-2 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.

Fitch does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Northwest Catholic, they will host Bristol Eastern at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
