Volleyball Recap: Heritage Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Heritage Christian Academy was the 2-0 winner over Shawnee Mission Northwest when they last played one another back in September of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Chargers fell 2-0 to the Cougars on Saturday.

Heritage Christian Academy was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Shawnee Mission Northwest work for it, especially in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 29-27.

Heritage Christian Academy now has a losing record of 10-11. As for Shawnee Mission Northwest, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 13 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-6 record this season.

Coincidentally, Heritage Christian Academy and Shawnee Mission Northwest will both be playing Blue Valley Northwest the next time they take the court. The Chargers will host the Huskies at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Cougars will play them later in the day, at 12:00 p.m.
