Soccer Recap: Viewpoint Comes Up Short

Viewpoint was the 4-1 winner over Campbell Hall when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Viewpoint Patriots fell 3-1 to the Campbell Hall Vikings on Thursday. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Patriots came into the matchup with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 343rd, while the Vikings are ranked 688th).

Viewpoint's loss dropped their record down to 5-3-2. As for Campbell Hall, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 4-5 record.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Viewpoint will host Brentwood School at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Campbell Hall, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Crossroads at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Crossroads will be hoping to continue their three-game streak of scoring more goals each game than the last.
