It was a good run, but South Ridge unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-match winning streak on Wednesday. They fell 3-1 to the North Woods grizzlies. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the grizzlies this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

North Woods found their leader in freshman Tessa Burnett, who had 23 digs. With that strong performance, Burnett is now averaging an impressive 10.1 digs per game.

South Ridge's loss dropped their record down to 20-3-1. As for North Woods, the victory was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 23-3.

As of now, neither South Ridge nor the grizzlies have any future games scheduled.
