Soccer Recap: West Jessamine vs. Science Hill
West Jessamine was not able to break out of their rough patch on Sunday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Science Hill Hilltoppers. The Colts were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Hilltoppers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in August of 2017.
West Jessamine's loss dropped their record down to 1-6-2. As for Science Hill, their win bumped their record up to 7-2-1.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. West Jessamine will face off against Scott County at 8:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Science Hill, they will square off against Oak Ridge at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Oak Ridge knows how to get goals on the board -- the squad has finished with four goal or more in their past three matches -- so hopefully Science Hill likes a good challenge.
