Volleyball Recap: Northside Takes a Loss

Northside had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell 2-0 to the McIntosh Chiefs on Friday. The Patriots have struggled against the Chiefs recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Anjali Smith paced Northside's offense, picking up six kills. Smith got some help from Lacie Watts and her seven assists. Aiyanna Rebant controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

McIntosh has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Northside didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Lambert on the 8th. As for McIntosh, they will take on Etowah in a tournament on Saturday.
