Baseball Recap: Mason County Comes Up Short

Mason County managed to slip by Frankfort the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Royals lost 13-3 to the Panthers on Thursday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Royals have suffered since March 27th.

Mason County has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season. As for Frankfort, they now have a winning record of 7-6.

Looking ahead, Mason County will challenge Paintsville at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Frankfort, they will face off against Henry Clay at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Blue Devils will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Panthers surely won't give up without a fight.
