Basketball Game Preview: Buckeye Bucks vs. North Olmsted Eagles

The Buckeye Bucks will head out on the road to face off against the North Olmsted Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Buckeye has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Having struggled with three defeats in a row, Buckeye turned things around against Vermilion on Wednesday. They snuck past the Sailors with a 42-36 win.

Meanwhile, North Olmsted came up short against Cloverleaf on Wednesday and fell 60-49. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 514th, while the Colts are ranked 124th).

North Olmsted has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-4 record this season. As for Buckeye, their victory bumped their record up to 2-5.

Buckeye was able to grind out a solid win over North Olmsted in their previous matchup back in February, winning 46-39. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was the Eagles' Rose Lane, who went 6-for-7 en route to 18 points in addition to six boards and three steals.
