Soccer Recap: Terrell Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Terrell took on Midlothian on Friday. The Terrell Tigers fell 3-1 to the Midlothian Panthers. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 482nd, while the Panthers are ranked 187th).

Terrell dropped their record down to 5-7 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Midlothian, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Terrell will welcome Kaufman at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Terrell is facing Kaufman at the right time seeing as Kaufman is stuck on a 12-game losing streak. As for Midlothian, they will be playing at home against Ennis at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Midlothian is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.5 goals per game this season.
