Euclid extends home losing streak to five

Recap: Euclid Panthers vs. Walsh Jesuit Warriors

The Euclid Panthers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their sixth straight loss. They fell just short of Walsh Jesuit by a score of 73-70. Euclid has struggled against the Warriors recently, as their game on Tuesday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Several Panthers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Thai Duncan, who scored 26 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Myckel Davis, who scored 17 points.

Euclid's defeat was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-13. That rough patch can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.2 points per game. As for Walsh Jesuit, the victory got them back to even at 7-7.

Euclid will head out on the road to face off against the Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Strongsville has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 524 points over their last seven games. As for Walsh Jesuit, they will be playing at home against the Bruins at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
