Mater Dei found their leader in sophomore Hunter Hochbaum, who threw for 316 yards and six touchdowns on only 17 passes, and also rushed for 40 yards and one score. Those 316 passing yards set a new season-high mark for Hochbaum. Bodie Brockmeier helped out on the ground, rushing for 89 yards.

On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Mater Dei's defense and their three sacks. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Justin Hilmes, Lydon Barwick, and Kody Huels, who each picked up one sack apiece.
