Baseball Recap: Parker Comes Up Short

If Parker was feeling good fresh off their 21-7 takedown of Harvest Community last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Braves fell just short of the Ribault Trojans by a score of 7-5 on Thursday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Braves have suffered since April 1, 2025.

Y Parra made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two doubles and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of D Martinez, who got on base in two of his four plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base.

Parker's record now sits at 2-2. As for Ribault, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-3.

Coincidentally, Parker and Ribault will both be playing ED White the next time they take the field. The Braves will host the Commanders at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Trojans will head out to face them at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
