Recap: Golder Panthers vs. Morgan Park Academy Warriors
The Golder Panthers lost against the Morgan Park Academy Warriors back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. Golder was dealt a 61-18 defeat at the hands of Morgan Park Academy. Golder has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Tiara Williams continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Morgan Park Academy, almost dropping a triple-double on 29 points, nine rebounds, and ten assists. The match was Williams' 13th in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Anna Sheppard, who scored 17 points.
Golder has been struggling recently, as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season. As for Morgan Park Academy, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-3.
Golder is on the road again on Thursday and play against Kennedy at 10:00 a.m. on December 28th. Morgan Park Academy won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Juarez at 1:00 p.m. on December 28th.
