Volleyball Preview: Hoosic Valley Indians vs. Emma Willard Jesters
The Hoosic Valley Indians will stay at home for another game and welcome the Emma Willard Jesters at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Monday, Hoosic Valley got the win against Saratoga Central Catholic by a conclusive 3-0.
Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Hoosic Valley took every set by at least 12 points. The final score came out to 25-5, 25-13, 25-12.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Hoosic Valley to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ella Waldron, who had seven kills, six digs, three aces, and three aces. What's more, Waldron also racked up two blocks, the mostshe's had since back in October of 2023. Another player making a difference was Izzy Finkle, who had nine aces.

Hoosic Valley's win was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-2. As for Emma Willard, their victory bumped their record up to 2-0.
