After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Sedro-Woolley, Blaine was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They blew past the Meridian Trojans 11-5. The Borderites might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three matches by six runs or more this season.

Shaylie Daniels and Mesa Puls made a big impact no matter where they played. Throwing, Daniels didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched. Meanwhile, Puls pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. At the plate, Daniels went 4-for-5 with three RBI, two doubles, and one run, while Puls went 1-for-5 with two runs and one RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Courtney Roff, who went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and two doubles. Another player making a difference was Maddi Musto, who went 3-for-5 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Blaine was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .412. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

Blaine moved to 4-5 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Meridian, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-11.

Blaine didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 15-0 defeat against Lynden on the 24th. As for Meridian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 17-0 loss against Lynden Christian on the 24th.
