Notre Dame is headed into Friday's matchup hungry for a win as their strong season has now been derailed by two straight defeats. They received a blow on Friday as they fell 63-47 to Symmes Valley.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for East, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They breezed past Green to the tune of 46-0 on Thursday. The Tartans' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Notre Dame's loss dropped their record down to 7-2. As for East, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-7.

Everything came up roses for Notre Dame against East in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 48-6 victory. In that game, the Titans amassed a halftime lead of 36-6, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
