The Peninsula Catholic Knights will take on the Hampton Christian Academy Warriors at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Peninsula Catholic is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.8 runs per game this season.

Peninsula Catholic's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. Everything went their way against Pallotti as Peninsula Catholic made off with a 10-0 win. While the Knights didn't have the best season last year (they finished 2-11), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Quinn Freakley made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out seven over five innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3.

In other batting news, Addison Dent was incredible, going 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and one triple. That home run was her first of the season. Autumn Baker was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3.

Peninsula Catholic was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .440. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .320 or higher in three consecutive matchups.

Meanwhile, Hampton Christian Academy fell victim to Greenbrier Christian Academy and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Gators, falling 10-0. The Warriors have struggled against the Gators recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meeting.

Hampton Christian Academy saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Reese Krantz, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

Peninsula Catholic's victory bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Hampton Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
