Soccer Recap: Franklin Takes a Loss

If Franklin was riding high fresh off their 4-0 takedown of Churchill on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Patriots lost 6-1 to the Divine Child Falcons on Monday. While losing is never fun, Franklin can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan soccer rankings (they are ranked 302nd, while Divine Child are ranked 68th).

Franklin's loss dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Divine Child, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-4-2 record this season.

Franklin will take on Glenn at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Divine Child, they will square off against Annapolis at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
